Never enough time for the strategic work that matters?
It’s not always a time problem.
And it’s not always a ‘you’ problem.
You’re building something you’re proud of – but the important-but-not-urgent work keeps getting pushed to “next week”.
But next week never comes.
I help business and team leaders see whether they’re dealing with capacity constraints, internal patterns, or both – so you can have space to think and shift from reactive to proactive leadership without dropping the ball.
From the outside, it still looks like you’ve got it handled.
But behind the scenes, it often looks like this:
The External Pressure
You’re expected to focus on strategy, but operations still need you to be hands-on – and fires don’t wait.
Your decisions have trade-offs with real operational consequences – and you’re the one who’ll need to handle the fallout.
You’re constantly responding to what’s seemingly urgent – with no space to step back and see the bigger picture.
The Internal Pressure
You carry the weight of “getting it right” while figuring it out as you go.
Delegating feels risky because you’ll be the one picking up the pieces if it goes wrong.
You hold more context than the rest – and there’s little time to transfer it, so it feels faster to just do it yourself.
Sound familiar?
This isn’t just about better time management.
If it were, you would’ve figured it out already.
This is about recognizing the internal patterns AND the external realities – because when you don’t, “just for now” becomes “this is just how it is” – leaving you feeling stuck.
What keeps happening:
Rushed decisions you second-guess or need to fix later.
Overfunctioning while your team doesn’t have space to step up.
Constantly reacting instead of shaping what happens next.
An unsustainable pace that leaves no room for the unexpected – or for life.
Instead, you could:
Make strategic trade-offs you’re confident about.
Develop your team’s capability (instead of doing it yourself).
Spot patterns and prevent problems before they become fires.
Sustain your performance without sacrificing your life.
But this isn’t another thing you have to figure out on your own.
Hi, I’m Liz.
I help leaders break the patterns keeping them in the firefighting loop – so they can actually build and lead proactively.
I’ve been stuck in that loop.
From being employee #5 at a startup that scaled to 25+ employees in 18 months to helping a group of two SMEs grow to 4 entities – I’ve been in the trenches. Setting up all the operations, systems, and processes needed while carrying the pressure of needing to “get it right” and saying “yes” to every additional request.
I burned myself out – twice.
Not from a lack of capability – but from patterns I couldn’t see from the inside. “Just push through” was my default, and it led straight to burnout.
Since then, I’ve spent the last 4 years coaching leaders – bringing my 10+ years in operations to the work. Helping them build sustainable capacity instead of just pushing through.
I bring that operational lens to leaders stuck in the firefighting loop – helping them make practical changes and lead proactively before they hit burnout territory.

How we work together:
It all starts with a conversation before choosing the level of support.
Focus Refinement Session
Clarity. Focus. Direction.
A focused, 90-minute session that gives you the space to step back from the firefighting and think through a specific challenge – so you can leave with clarity and a practical plan to move forward.
This is for you if you:
- Have a specific challenge or decision you need to work through
- Want an outside perspective to see your options more clearly
- Need dedicated time to think strategically without the noise
The aim isn’t transformation.
It’s orientation – so you can move forward with confidence and intention.
Leadership Leap
Capacity. Sustainability. Impact.
An ongoing partnership for leaders ready to break the patterns keeping them reactive – with support as they navigate real decisions in real time.
This is for you if you:
- Are ready to address the patterns, not just manage the symptoms
- Want an objective partner who understands both the operational realities and the internal dynamics
- Value ongoing support as you navigate real trade-offs
This isn’t consulting or a fixed program.
It’s a partnership designed to support both performance and sustainability as your role demands change.
